• Suggestions & feedback: Bakery suggestions, feedback, and feature requests you submit
• Location data: Only when you grant permission, to show nearby bakeries. We do not store your location on our servers

What we do NOT collect

• We do not track your browsing activity
• We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not store your location history

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the BITE app experience
• To display your reviews alongside bakery listings
• To respond to your feedback and suggestions
• To send important account-related communications

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which complies with GDPR and maintains industry-standard security practices. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can read Firebase's privacy policy for more details.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication: For account creation and sign-in
• Firebase Firestore: For storing app data
• Firebase Storage: For bakery photos
• Google Sign-In & Apple Sign-In: As optional sign-in methods

• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time via your device settings

The BITE website does not use cookies or tracking. The iOS app does not use cookies.
